After I died in the Barrow Downs I closed and restarted the app. It through a bunch of exceptions at me. It asked about JIT compiler. Event viewer grabbed:

Cant do nothing. When I select new game I only get message "pick your class etc" but every window is white. Allso when I quit and load the game I got some character but cant do nothing it with because everything else except inventory is blank. Allso says that you need permission to delete the infamous game. Does seem that even adding permission with Admin wont solve this.

First off, thanks for trying it! Stick with it a touch... it will work!
What OS are you using? Vista?
I haven't actually seen such a problem as you describe. When it asks for a class, try typing in the entire word "Warrior" Then see what happens and let us know. If you only type part of it, I think it gets upset. So try typing in the full class name and see what happens. Also, if nothing is happening, try hitting escape and THEN trying the arrows to move around.
Anyway, let me know if any of that helps:)
When Schis gets on he can give this a look with a more technical eye, as he is the code guy. Thanks for trying it out, and please don't give up on it too quick:)
