French and Indian War Total War

I'd rather see a War of 1812: Total War, or a Crimean: Total war.

Actually, we do have some people who only play AWI or ACW and got hooked up here via the AWI beta, so I was hoping for some input from them as well:)

HOW ABT a package for NTW2 that covers French&Indian, American Rev War, 1812 and Crimea all in one? Is that too broad a time range? I was thinking like sample units from each period and maybe only one or two historic engagements each.

It'd make a great history lesson.

I like the idea of a mod for NTW2 for either the Seven Years war (French and Indian war) or a Crimean war package.

Dont they all actually tie into each other? Why do one and ignore the other>?

Being a dirty American ,as yall Euros say, I know very little abt the Crimean and 7 Years War, but Im sure their timing was influential on all the forces involved. 1812 would be very interesting to us here if you do more than just make the units with no connection to topography. The Atlantic East Coast plays such a significant part of all the wars in Early American History that it would be a waste of time to ignore them. I suspect that is less true in continental Europe, but could any of you imagine leaving hills and mountains out entirely in some European wars? NO, of course not. Yet since water is ignored in Total War and only a bunch of lubbers play it theres no possibility of doing justice to naval operations of any kind. Very short sighted in game design - and NO - I WONT ever shut up talking abt it.

Id like to see a sequence that included 7 Yrs, Crimea, American Rev, 1812 , French and Indian- the whole package ( Yes I know they arent in order- Land-sickness rages)
