Hello, I've been invited here by Ashram a while ago and I thought it's time to pay my respects. I've started playing NTW relatively recently and I'm amazed by the game. Have I ever played with any of you guys? See you on the Field!

Hey man, welcome!

Had the pleasure of playing against (and losing to) Davout a few days ago... he smartly moved his entire army the length of the board to launch an attack from the best possible ground, and then used a nice combined attack of lights and fuisliers to get the job done; not a guard in sight! Twas a fun game! I had mentioned we were looking for some new recruits here at the GG... if you want to put your name in we'd be happy to consider it:)

Anyway, welcome, and have fun poking around the board and doing some reading:)

Nice to be here. I'll be online today looking for some of you guys to team up. I'm using TeamSpeak (voice comm program) when I play NTW at least with my friend Metaxas, so if anyone would like to get it we can hang out.

Does Teamspeak need a server ?

I have used it ages ago but can't remember. More recently I have used Ventrilo which works very well, but I think needs a server.

I connect to ts.forgottenhonor.com:8767. It's a BF1942 FH mod tournament I play in TS server. I hang out in RTW channel.

Well the teamspeak server software is free to use if it's for non-profit. I have the TS server as well as the client software and it's pretty easy to set up your own server.

hmm i dont think the TS server would be good because i dont have a mic!! lol i used it in Call of Duty when i was in the best clan in there (not kidding to if anyone played CoD 1) i was in the Z.T.C clan!! woo Zero Tolerence Clan... the best snipers in the game

actually a TS server would be awesome, i've played a few games with friends while using TS and it makes it a whole lot more enjoyable. You can actually talk tactics and communicate without havng to go through the teamsay menu's over and over.

We used to use teamspeak and skype a TON, and I agree, it was fun; both to talk tactics AND to bullshite:) How else would I know that AndrewKent is the most calm sounding man on earth, or that Von sounds like the Swedish chef? We should get back to that; lets get some regular GG games scheduled (I will take care of that this weekend) and then get TS going.

You can buy a decent enough headset for like $20. I did.
