It was a great adventure, I can only praise the genourous nature of the Spanish people and my fellow pilgrims. I walked about 200 miles in 16 days. Starting at Leon onto Santiago along country paths and trails.
I was surprised how many were doing the trail this time of year.......... met a lot of new friends along the Camino.. Germans, Spanish, Hungarians, Canadians, Australians, Swedes...oh and Americans
and the weather was great 35 C all the way...only had 2 hours of rain whilst walking.
Some places were straight out the 1400's, history ozzzing out...
