The Grenadier Guards Campaign Launches!

Welcome all to the official announcement of the launch of the first Grenadier Guards Campaign: The War of Europe!

The campaign will consist of six linked battles in the fictional War of Europe, 1815-1816. The war will follow the invasion of France by the Allies; England, Prussia, and Holland.

We will try for two games a weekend for three weekends, beginning the weekend of November 6-7(please see the calendar.) There will be four generals for the French side, and four generals for Allies (two British, 1 Dutch, and 1 Prussian.) Each general will recieve their orders and updates via email at the start of the week, along with their army lists. Custom maps will be needed for all games, so players must be sure to meet on MSN before the scheduled games to download the required maps. More specifics will be outlined in a group email to all participating Generals before the campaign commences.

If you are interested in participating in the campaign, and can commit to two games on three Sundays in a row, please email me to register. If you would, please put GG CAMPAIGN in ALL CAPS in the subject; I don't want to miss anyone because of my spam guard:)

Registration will be first come, first serve, with Guards getting priority (sorry!) Registration will be open until Thursday, November 4. While you may request a faction, please know teams and factions will be determined by an impartial moderator after all players have registered.

If you have any questions, please post them here and I will do my best to answer... and we'll see you on the field!

If you do not make it into this campaign, please do stick with us... if this first effort is enthusiastically received, we will try to run a few more.

Registration is now finished. We are aware many people who wanted to play did not get a chance; we will certainly either run another campaign soon, or even give out information on running your own!

I didnt get your email, but I'll take this instead. I'm happy to see some members of the HGs who can participate... any chance there are two more HGs out there, so one of the two campaigns could be a GG vs HG type of thing?
