When I loaded up the second screenshot, before it finished loading, I could've swore it was ACW. I looked at the telephone, and chuckled that Ash put a telephone pole in an ACW-Era setting.
Then again, I also ignored the blatant blue truck and Tiger tank, so..

Okay, here are some of the newest 25mm Napoleonics I am working on... First are two elements of my new lights division... here mounted on two seperate skirmish bases. I also have a single big base for them (along with my two other light elements) to rank up as a regular, 24 man close order unit. Here is my first Hussar unit... I am making all cav units units of six... then I am leaving the rear side of each movement tray unsanded. That way, if I want to combine two trays into one unit, I can just flip the tray around so it is smooth side touching smooth side, reverse the men, move the rear rank officer up to the front rank, and have a 12 large unit. Here is cav unit one; note the converted commander, whose horse is rearing up on a rock... In the background here is hussar unit number two. Finally, here is my command. My commander at the front, horse rearing up in a heroic manner. His man servant close behind him; he is the guy in the turban in the center. Chatting with the man servant is an officer; clearly an older gent who knows that the servant is a good man to keep in good graces with and is a good man with whom to trade jests. Finally on the right is my top military man, a dour frenchman whose only thought is of war; he is writing out orders while keeping a hawklike eye on the field. (Note: If you look in the far left top corner, you can see one of my favorites; the Old Guard grenadier musician on whose drum I painted a pretty convincing shadow of a drumstick... looks sharp, right?) The beauty of using those bases for the commanders is that my General can be given a personal honor guard of troops if he wishes... Or can even join the men, ready to lead from the front! So thats the latest! More updates when I get work done... next is a 12lb Guard Artillery piece so that I have two... then the two units of Hussars... then gotta mount and finish a unit of Fuisiliers... and then the command stand... and then another Fuisiliers... then two foot artillery... and finally a unit of Cuirassiers! Then I am done with all the unpainted miniatures I have and can start buying more:D
