It was targeted to no individual ( Even though Head's of State may appear in one or two. ), and I do apologize if you took offense to that. However, I will not apologize about the material within them and my point of view.

Yes free speech is ok, good even, nothing worse than a big secret, but when that free speech is of a very biased and controversial nature then a line has to be drawn.

If i was to post current opinion on say... Americans in my country just now, you'd want me to hang from the nearest tree i bet? Or maybe just put me in chains and let me fry in the sun for 3 years whatever way you like to do things.

So what i'm trying to say is that there is a time and a place for your well valued opinions, but it really sickens me to see them in the GG forum.

What place is this for your political rantings? Fair enough you won't get banned and Buxford is here to back you up, but really, can you not find a political forum to join where people would love to have a debate with you and give as good as you get?

My message to all: This stuff scares new players away and it is just not reflecting good on GG, even if his disclaimer says what it does, he's on of your men and he barks like a rabid dog.

You honestly have the audacity to come to another clan's forum and bash one of its members for discussing politics in the OFF TOPIC FORUM, and imply that he should be banned because of his opinions? For God's sake, where are your manners?

And for once in my life I have to agree with Ash; free speech, no matter how offensive, should NEVER be prohibited. You're only marching down the road of totalitarianism if you support the restriction of freespeech. As Voltaire put it, "I my disagree with what you say, but I'll support to the death your right to say it."

If anything, the threads make the GG look better. We're debating in a civilized manner, and we're giving each other a chance to state their opinions. No one is being flamed because they differ in opinions. Instead, we're talking to calmly to each other, like 'gentlemen'.

I don't get it how I'm not a gentleman when I'm debating peacefully with you, when you simply come to the Off Topic section to flame me for my opinion. Instead of trying to say my opinions are too extreme, debate them with me. You tell me I'm not worth talking to, yet you come here and throw **** at me.

Frankly Scot, I hold nothing against you. I don't mind that you think my opinions are a little 'out there', but what I do mind is your inability to debate them peacefully. What, in my opinion, dangers my posts are not the posts themselves, but people's inability to debate with me. My posts are made to a general audience, not to one person in particular.

You might ask, 'Why not bring this to an appropriate forums?' Why? Because I'm a casual debator, and I dislike debates with people I don't even know. In the GG I know everyone, and I know just about everyone in the NTW community. I know who can take a debate sensibly ( IE, the entire Grenadier Guards. ) and who can't. I understand that not everyone will agree with me, and that's why I put them up. I put them up because I enjoy writing them, and I enjoy sharing my opinions with my fellow Guardsmen and my fellow NTW players.

People like to point at me and tell me I'm not mature, yet I simply have to laugh at your own opinions: You're throwing **** at me simply because I was serfed. You figure that now that I've been booted from the Beta Team and Serfed from the Lordz that I might be easier to deal with and I might be more willing to withdraw my opinions from this boards, or hey, maybe the Grenadier Guards will ban me.

No. I'm not going to back away from my opinions, and I have received such reassurance from my fellow Guardsmen that I'm embarassed for my actions at the Lordz. Sure, I could've handled myself better, but at the same time I ask myself: Does that give you any right to come here and poke at me and provoke me? No, it does not.

I'm tired of coming online and hearing the latest batch of Anti-SirD sentiments. I'm tired of people posting negative comments about me, and I'm tired of seeing this trash come up on OUR forums. I've already made a promise to our Regimental Commander, IrishBrigadier, that I would not post at the Lordz anymore. I'm going to keep that promise. Yet, even though I refrain from posting there I can't seem to escape this provocation: It seems to be following me.

And with that Scot, I'm fed up with you. I'm fed up with the idiots running around here who decide it's funny to make fun and try to take advantage of me when I'm at my weakest. If you want to poke fun at me at the Lordz or your own forums, be my guest. I won't frequent them anymore. But, do not come here and think it's alright to provoke me.

So, Scot, if you wouldn't mind, kindly leave me alone and I'll leave you alone. I'm fed up having to look at your negative posts.
