2nd Grenadier Guard Campaign-Registration Opens!

The Grenadier Guards are proud to announce the opening of registration for the second Grenadier Guards Napoleonic Total War Campaign: The Eastern Alliance, 1816-1818 AD.

The European War of 1815 has raged across Western Europe. The pre-emptive invasion of France by England, Holland, and Prussia has left both sides weary and spent by war. And in the frozen wastes of Eastern Europe, a wolf stalks, sensing its weakened prey. In the late fall of 1816, the Russian and Austrian Empires form an alliance and strike at France’s weakened eastern border. Hundreds of thousands of Russian and Austrian troops pour from the snowy forests in an attempt to cut themselves a piece of France’s rich underbelly. Once again, the curtain of war falls over Europe.

The full Rules for the campaign will be posted shortly on this web site. The campaign allows for as many generals to particpate as register, so I ask that all Generals who wish to participate in this campaign email us at

Within the body of the email, please include any information you feel we need to know and any names of players with whom you would specifically like to serve with. However, please understand no promises can be made:) Make sure the email you register from is a current email that you check regularly.

Registration will last approx. three weeks. At the end of this time, teams will be finalized and the War will begin. While the full rules will be posted shortly, registered players will be able to play campaign games at any time and at their convenience against any other players who are online thanks to the new and unique Grenadier Guard Campaign Format, a Format that allows the smaller, nightly individual battles to influence the overall war. We would be thrilled if all active players of NTW would consider registering for the campaign, and promise that doing so will result in a more regular, accurate, interesting, and fun multiplayer Napoleonic Total War experience!

Hm, should be okay, although I do ask people to try to send the email as detailed; it will simply help organizing who is playing and avoid any mix ups between email addys and NTW names:)
