Thanks to all the Generals who tried their d**ndest to play the first battle of the campaign!
About 10 or so people from each side got to play the map, and in the largest 3 v 3, the French came away with a win. However, like many first-time attempts, there were some... growing pains:) Thanks to everyone for sticking through a lot of work to get in what, when it was played, was a kickass game:)
I have sent out the Weekday Scenarios. Please, dont be intimidated by the somewhat dense ruleset. Just jump in a game when someone who has played one is hosting. Once you do it once, you will understand it for good. Remember, to play a campaign game, you always want to have the following two documents printed and next to you; the Company Outline, and the Scenarios for the Week. Then, just wait for someone to be on! And remember; each scenario your side wins brings reinforcements to the battlefield at the end of the week, as well as raising the ranks of the participating Generals. Already, the defending French and Die Freie armies have stood firm, turning away a large Russian and Austrian column to the north east... the Generals Von Doblen, Buxford, and OJ121 gaining respect and confidence of French high command.
Again, gents, thanks for sticking with it, and remember, it only gets easier:)

P.S. And try our scenario one, the time limit one; those kind of "rear guard, hold them long enough for the main force to retreat!" games are fun little desperate defensive formations against a sea of enemies...
