Q: I downloaded the mod and unzipped it, but it doesnt seem to work? What is wrong?

A: WITHOUT A DOUBT, the SINGLE BIGGEST MISTAKE is EASILY that you unzipped it in the wrong place:) Keep in mind, you must unzip it to your Total War folder, NOT your Total War/Medieval - Total War folder.

That is, far and away, the easiest mistake to make; I did it myself, and almost everyone who has installed it has:) To fix, just unzip it again one level higher;

ie C:\Programs\Total War

NOT

C:\Programs\Total War\Medieval - Total War

ALSO, it is important that your NTW file that you are overwriting is called Medieval - Total War, so rename it for the install if you have to:)

Q: Why do the American Riflemen and Native Warparties heads move?

A: Well, this is my first mod, and my first attempt at graphics. For Version 1, the heads will be fixed, and the Warparties will have totally different graphics. For now, the game balance is the key thing we are looking at:)

ive converted all but one of the music files to WAV (Euro lose 1) ive been using the conveter that came whit the files but i get a "error when decoding" do i have to have all the music files in order to play???

Nope! For some reason that error shows up with that program... sometimes you can just try a few times and it works! Otherwise no, you can just use the ones you can get open, and try another program maybe to convert them:)

Will the full release have a campaing map??? if not are you thinking of adding one in the future???

The Full-Release will not contain the full campaign map, as it takes too much work to do, and have the mod come out in a resonable time. ( Remember, we don't want to spend three months doing a campaign map, only to have NTW2 Multiplayer come out days after. )

Though, Fork, or someone else told me they were going to try and make a campaign map, which will undoubtedly be VERY cool.

I get a CTD when the loading screen should appear to begin the battle. do you think its my ghrapic card cuz i have the same problem whit RTW (can play camp thoug), but i can play NTW and i dont think the ghrapics are that diferent from AWITW. also do you think it may be a problem whit My NTW cuz i recently reinstalled it and ham haveing minor colour and grapic dificultys, (maybe a currupted version) but it dint happen before.

Also do i need the 503 Addon for NTW to install?

Never mind the post above, i resolved the issue, turns out i dint have the 503 Addon, and that caused it not to work, im double posting so as you can read my above problem and, help any other person who may be expiriencing the same problem.

Also amazing game, i was a little disapointed that i dint have a campaing map cuz that my favorite part of all the TW series, but you did fantastic work.

You have to have the NTW(napoleonic TW) mod first in order to play the american war for independence mod, yo can download the NTW mod here: www.thelordz.co.uk/Lordzsite/index.php?_b3k

once you have it installed it and also the 503 (make sure you have the 503 patch or it whont work, e-mail lord Ash at [e-mail] asking him for the beta, hell email you back on instruccions on how to get it.

Note: the Lordz site is a totaly diferent org than the GG, all questions about NTW should be directed at their forums.

Is the campaign map still European? Or is it supposed to be a map of Eastern North America?

Just wondering if I did something wrong on install.
