Modding Lessons

A few folks had asked some general modding questions, so I thought maybe I would post to see if anyone was interested in maybe hopping onto skype someday for an hour and just going over the VERY basics of modding... the unitprod files and such. Maybe an hour on skype, a fresh copy of NTW, and we could just chat through changing stats, changing faction availablity, changing names, and other stuff like that?

In case you think it is hard, dont worry, it really isnt; I picked it up REAL quick, and I am a bit dull in the head:) So if you have an INTEREST, then post; the only programs you need are excel and wordpad/notepad. Way easy, I promise!

I am thinking these get togethers might be on Sunday afternoons for an hour or so... sound okay?

Again, we can start small, and if we get bigger, great, we can get bigger!

Great Idea!

I have made significant changes to NTW and would like to share them with you all very soon. I like the way the game plays now and losing battles are just as likely as winning so let me know when, please.

Hey LiebGardeGrenadier. What changes have you made? Have you played Multiplayer before? If not, some would very much adore a deal of change in the Single Player. I know I would.

First, you should get yourself MSN Messenger. Just type in Google "MSN Messenger", and you'll find a place to download it. Download that, get a screen name, and add these two names.

Okay, we are gonna do the first general walk through of Mod School this Thursday at 3:15 PM EST. If you want to get involved, drop me an email or pm and lets get it going! I am a newbie at this but we can try at least!

Please have Yahoo messenger set up for voice and a spare copy of NTW copied and pasted that you dont mind messing up, and do all of this before hand!

Good stuff! Had our first "mod school" session and reviewed changing stats, unit names, faction names, faction availability, and a host of other things! If you are interested in coming on board for another session at some point just let us know!
