Hm, K98 is a cool ass gun:) Hey, just so you guys all know, I changed all the passwords of the GG forums... I'll PM you guys the password. Made them all the same, so if you want to go back and read old stuff you can:) If I missed you just PM me or any of the other guys and they should be able to give you the password. Heh, we were within one day of winning the whole TIG tournament no problem... shame it didn't last long enough! BTW... go play the d**n middle earth game! I am telling you guys, it is fun:)

Nice double barrel. Ash, I fully embrace my geekyness. LotR (books and movies) is the greatest trilogy ever. I even find the Middle Earth back story and history Tolkien created for the trilogy to be fascinating. But, I have to say, you bring it to a whole new level with your Middle Earth D&D game.

I'm sorry, I've been far too busy laying siege to hapless British brigs with the USS Constitution in Empire: Total War to be too worried about silly elves and orks!
Teeheeheehee, I'm so fancy! Teeheehee!
... Oh f**k, I make a good Meg impression, don't I? BURN.

I'm building a model of the USS Constitution, at the moment, actually.
But Ash is still geekier than I am. ;D

How is making a computer game geeky? Or is it the subject matter?
Oh gimme a break, it isn't that bad. Plus it is a lot of fun making a game from scratch.

What's strange is that I know Ash is a rogueish dude who lives in New York who gets married with a five o'clock shadow -- but, at the same time, I imagine him as the nerdy dude off "17 Again" who has a land-speeder (Star Wars) bed.
Speaking of Constitution models, Bux. What brand did you get? I was thinking about building one and giving it to my girlfriend. So she'll have something big and pointy to remember me by.

If I spent 3-4 months building a plastic model boat, my girlfriend would probably begin to wonder how deep my geekdom for all things early 19th century really goes.
"You want to work at Valley Forge?" "... Yeah." "Isn't that where a lot of people died in the cold." "Uh huh." "And you want to work there?" "Pretty much." ".. What am I going to do with you?"

Lol.
"That ship is awesome. How long did it take you to build?" "4 months." "....."

"It literally took me as long as it took the US Government to build the real one."

"The original ship required almost six years to build; the 1:48 scale model took 15,440 hours over a period of 20 years to complete." www.victorymodel.com/

Oh hush it. And you missed "dude who bangs LOTS of hot chicks and had 3 ways with his wife and a hot actress, but also teaches sixth graders"

Psh, a freelance, classical musician who is a LOTR junkie and builds model ships and hasn't had a girlfriend in ages is way cooler than a guy who bangs hot chicks and regularly has threesomes.
I figured that was kind of obvious, but whatever.
