Hmm...
I say that IMO some forms of government involvment in the society is good and works well; you say - No it never works!
I try to give a few examples of how IMO it does work in my country; you say - No it never works!
I try to make the point that, again in my opinion, yes it does work pretty well in many areas and try to back it up with more specific examples from my own society, pointing to rather well-accepted "quality of life" phenomena such as life expectancy, infant mortality and democracy level; You say - No it never works!
I say - Ahem I'm sorry but is it possible to have another point of view than you on this in any way? You say - No it never works!
You back up your die-hard standpoint of that "it never works" with the rationale that "It's a FACT it never works!" Wooah! I didn't see that one coming!!! Gag me with a Sthingy that's a brilliant argument!!!! Well if it's a FACT then what can I say!?!?!?!
And then you hit me with the mother of all arguments:
"We haven't gone into specifics*, except for the "centralized planning is impossible" argument (which I still think you don't understand)."
(*Ahem ok? Didn't I geve like 5 or 6 very specific examples?!)
WOW!!! So not only do you deny me the right to have a differing opinion since you HAVE no opinions, only "facts" and "undeniable truths", and deny the fact that I have been trying to put forth VERY specific examples about the Swedish society, you also tell me I'm just too stupid or uneducated or uninformed to understand what you are talking about!!!! WOOOAAAH!!! What a Zinger!!! I'm in shock and awe before your debating prowess, oh You Most Knowing and Informed One!!! Before I haul meesa uneducated, stoopid, ignoramus empty-brain out of here, slithering on my unworthy belly backwards in Your Informedness' magnificent and most learned presence, returning to the black and cold cesspool of poverty, tyranny, oppression, coercion and generally revolting pile of puke that is government run Sweden, let me leave you, if I may be so presumptous and bold, with a quote (from a man who lived in a small country called England, which was incidentally also rather sucessfully run by a social democratic party called Labour for years and years in the 1900's and again in the 2000's), You - The Exalted Pinnacle of All Human Knowledge:
"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
Hamlet Act 1, scene 5
