Can these unit types be implemented?

I wont lie, it will be very difficult to do so.

I have to get the graphics ingame first, and once I have a single set in I can start messing with some graphical changes. This mod will be on a much larger scale work-wise than the AWI mod and might take well into the summer to complete:(

However, it seems to me that it will be possible to add some units, such as Berdans and the Iron Brigade and some others very easily, as well as basic Zouave units.

We'll see, without these types of units the mod would be boring, and I cant imagine doing it without them.
