High valour green units!

I'm currently playing my first SP campaign after the release of the patch (it is much better now ).
I'm playing the Dutch (mostly because I wanted some nice battles early on with the French, but they never attacked ) and to my amazement my freshly trained militia have valour 2, my infantry have valour 3 and my carabinieri have valour 4! Dunno if this is some fix to the "not standing and firing" problem of old or what, ???but this means that green troops under a 0 star general will basically fight to the last man which is not very realistic IMO. I just fought a battle against the Prussians. They had a 2 star general and since I'm not that far into the campaign I guess their troops are not very experienced, but they did not rout untill I had killed about 90% of them. Poor bastards. ;D

By the way it makes me sad that I no longer can see Swedish hussars charge and rout at speed 264!!! It was nice to see men on super horses.

Yeh this was one of the things we did to try and make the units stand and fire better. But its not perfect as u say coz theyll stand to the last man, which was an issue i had with doin it, but the ai will stand and fight a bit better now.

Well, at lot of people where addressing the promblem of units running around, in mass, just being massacred, well the only salution was to give them all high valor units, they all have the same amount, exept cav, and elit units which have more, plus a lot of people asked for this change.

The first campaigne is all low starting armies, and titles.
Second campaigne has high starting units, with high titles. both income and starting funds have been reduced on both. couple of new discriptions for arty and some units.

I'm playing the first campaign and I must say that it starts on a more "sane" level of men and money. You actually need to build your empire with some care, keep trade routs open etc. (at least as the Swedes). Before you could pretty much just produce units and make war all the time without any financial problems.
And yes the units stand and fire much better now, even if it's to the bitter end.
