It seems they have added Scots Greys!!! YEY!!!! ;D

I checked out the Scots Greys - Finally the Brits have some nice cav!!! They basically move as fast as dragoons but have combat stats equal to Prussian cuirassiers!! SWEET!!!!

I have been reviewing the new stats a bit, and the main thing seems to be that they have slowed a lot of units down a bit, mainly heavier cav but also infantry units. Was there ever a problem with speeds? ;D

The Young, Middle and Old Guards have all lost some battle bonuses, and after a quick glance basically all the changes seem to have made units "worse" in different ways (mainly movement as I said). The KGL Lights are - THE SAME!?!? No changes as far as I could see. Sorry Flippy!

In my new Unit Stats file I will also include a page with all the changes that have been made from V5.01 so it's easy to find what has happened (if anything) to your favourite unit.

The biggest change is perhaps the reintroduction of the Scots Greys which finally gives the Brits a fair cav unit that is faster and has slightly better stats than Prussian Cuirassiers! No more need for Saxon Cuirassiers ever again. Well the Saxons are slower but with slightly better combat stats...

Included is a list of what has changed from version 5.01 so it's easy to see if the Lordz have done anything/what the Lordz have done to your favourite units.

Strange they didn't change the KGL lights - I thought that was "agreed" upon in this forum .
I guess the slowing down of the heavier cav units is to create an incentive to actually buy some light cav for speed.
Like I said before almost all changes have made the units in question "worse", very few changes are improvements of stats. Maybe the game is better balanced now - I don't know.
