Just a thought:
When making suggestions/comments, please remember;
If a unit is deemed too powerful or too weak, there are TWO options you have.
One: Change the unit stats.
Two: Change the unit points cost.
Remember; units SHOULDNT be balanced as far as stats. Where they should balance out is when you consider their point cost in relation to their stats.

Just posted this at the Lordz. Feel free to comment. I made a small test to check units combat bonuses vs their cost. I compared Swedish Grenadiers to French Old Guard and upgraded the Swedish Grenadier to compare to the Old Guard stats-wise. Unit size is medium. Old Guard: Valour 2 Attack 6 Defend 7 Morale 12 Armour 1 Cost 2023 Swedish Grenadier: Valour 3 Attack 6 Defend 7 Morale 12 Armour 3 (upgraded this +2 to get equal defend) Cost 4679!!!!!!! Even if I just upgrade armour to 2 and so get defend 6 and armour 2 on the Swedes they still cost TWICE AS MUCH as the equivalent Old Guard. This is what makes it nearly impossible to play "big" nation vs "small" nation on equal terms. I have not taken into consideration Honour Level since I don't know how that's affected by Valour in MP and how/if it affects combat stats or just routing/rallying and such. My suggestion is that the cost of the units in MP is more closely tied to the combat stats. A Valour 0 Old Guard (attack 4, defend 5, morale 8 ) now costs 700 and Swedish Grenadier (attack 3, defend 3, morale 6) costs 500, but a Grenadier unit with stats equalling the Old Guard costs 1445 (valour 2 attack 5, defend 4, morale 12)!!! That is again twice as much as the valour 0 Old Guard which will be basically just as good (almost). IMO the valour 0 Old Guard should therefor cost more like 1400 (twice the present price) if the Swedish Grenadier unit costs 500. As it is now it is not impossible but extremely hard to win with a "small" nation against a "big" one in a battle with somewhat even money. If I face a Swedish army with my French, British or Prussian army I just have to charge into melee and it will be over in no-time basically. But if these price changes could be implemented I think it would open up for many more nations being played on a regular basis in MP besides the 3 "big" ones, and it would make a great Mod and MP-experience even greater!
