Other video games

Hey all,

Just thought I should start a thread to recommend other video games, as there are two right now I have been playing and loving: Take Command The Battle of Bull Run (PC), and Brothers in Arms (X-Box.)

I'll write more later; I've got to get back to work for now, but please feel free to share any good games you find!

Ash, what do you think of Brothers in Arms?

I'm thinking of getting it when it's released in the UK.

I'm hooked at the moment on Call of Duty's United offensive MP its really...really really good

And I hear that the next title in the Battlefield series is due out soon

I am enjoying Brothers in Arms; the graphics are excellent, and it is nice to finally have a WWII squad based combat game. I am a huge Band of Brothers fan, and the game basically plays like you are living the show.

It does have a few drawbacks; namely, it is sometimes hard to see the enemy, and I am a big believer in wide open combat, and it is a tiny bit scripted (albeit unavoidably so.)

I'm only a few days into ownership, I would give it a 7 or 8 out of 10; the squad movement and such isnt as carefully done as That Other Squad Based Shooter (I cant remember the name offhand; not Delta Force... hmmm) and your men sometimes stand around not in cover (so annoying) but overall it is fun:)

As of last week i have been playing a game called nexus. If you are a fan of space warfare i think you might like this game. The gameplay is well made and gives alot of control over your ship. You can max out your engines, shields and weapons. And choose what parts of the enemy ships to attack. There are over 30 kinds of ships.
Combat takes place between 5-10 ships .

I wouldnt know about the multiplayer, because its not that popular.
And there are several mods out for it already. The best one which is a Star Trek mod. ;D

I just got Medal of Honor Pacific Assualt...dident get much time to play it...but it seems okay...
