Sorry about yesterday chaps, NTW2 completely frooze my system during deployment. Never had that happen so early on. A complete pain in the butt. This happen to anyone else out there?

yea a couple times for me... my comp overheated since i played like 7 NTW games in a row all 2v2 and all on large.. the last one which crashed my comp was a 3v2 all on large... rigthw when it loaded into screen my comp froze.. lol.. also how come Dury kept saying that you were sacked???

Yeah I was in the same conversation with Flip and Dury and was totally confused.

Sure that Dury said you were sacked from GG but could not get him to elaborate.

Mind you Dury was feeling a bit fed up, I think, got the impression from him that he is not happy with the state of LGA. All the new players make it very disorganised and he even said that some of them are not really LGA material in attitude.

I had freeze-up problems when I started playing this game about 2-3 weeks ago. The problem was videodrivers. I've installed NVIDIA 84.21 and the game works just fine. By the way I tried to install the latest NVIDIA drivers (91.47) and my screen went all crazy (two distorted desktops on the monitor). The older 84.21 (but newer from the ones I had) were good enough after all.

ok...the day after my freeze my motherboard fried, so I think I can safely say it was a related issue. Now my processor I'm afraid decides what replacement mb I could get, and this sacrifices 2mb of ram and that now gives me performance issues with certain games till I can find the florins to upgrade my system to Crossfire or sli mb, but waiting till vista comes out before deciding on that issue. But that means new proccessor and powersupply also, so looking at 500-600 florins . But will attempt to take to the field soon...promise.

My laptop has just had a meltdown and have just bought a PC after putting it off for years.

Will be delivered next Friday, what are the chances its going to work out of the box?

Have a shop around Salis. Just got my new PC from "Cyberpower" and it is high middle spec. Cant remember exact specs off hand but new SLI Asus mb, 4100 Athlon dual core processor, nvidia 7600gt 512mb pci express card (also sli possible if i get another the same) 1 gig ram, big psu, loads of fans and a seriously fancy case with all these pretty guages in the front and blue lights everywhere and a really cool clear side panel with the interior all lit up in blue ;D I am soooo shallow.

I stayed away from top end stuff as the prices are always so high but from what I read this should last me a good few years yet. price was around £500

Seriously though, thats a good price for that PC. I went for the Core 2 Duo 6700, with 2 GB of RAM and the Nvidia GeForce 7650 1MB video card and I paid quite a bit more. No blue lights though
