So I start a provincial campaign for RTR as the Greeks. For those of you who havent played the Greeks in RTR, they start owing the Macedonians a good amount of tribute a turn, and start as a protectorate. Needless to say, Winter of 270 BC I declare war.
Its 230 BC and we are still fighting, and my 2200 Greek hoplites get attacked by 3600 Macedonians. 17 minutes later I have taken 17 casualties, and inflicted 1900 casualties on the Macedonians.
Its on the hardest difficulty by the way.
Is this even humanely possible on an open field map, where the Macedonians have vastly superior numbers in cavalry?

Well it depends if your men had and used highground and the where tight together with the hoplites forming a wall...also you must have in consideration that the enemy might of brought weaker hoplites, yes it is possible.
