S! Fidd, Sharpe,
I have emailed you both; please respond at your earliest.
The best thing to do is to make sure you have MSN with all of the available NTW players contacts, and play some games. Obviously we would appreciate you getting your feet under you in MP as soon as possible, as we have a certain reputation to maintain:)
Please check your inboxes,
[GG]Ashram

Hello, Sirs! I wish entry in to the Grenadier Guards. I'd like to play NTW online now ( Thankfully the dialup is disapearing! ), and finally stop playing the atrociously stupid AI.
While I have never played an online game of NTW, I am an old player of Shogun: Total War, and I am willing to learn. I ask any of the members here to add me to their MSN contact list so that I might practice or learn some new things. Scottish76thOfFoot@Hotmail.com
My favorite faction is the Polish. Simply because it is hard to survive with the large Russian Armies upon your Eastern borders, and the professional Austrian and Prussian Armies on your southern and western flanks. Also, the units, in my opinion, are humbly suited to my tastes.
My favorite units are the Polish Lancers. Fast, deadly, and make very good scouting cavalry. While as the Polish Grenadiers are brave, not as effective as French or British Grenadiers on the most part, hold together strong when used in cojunction with either Cannister, light cannon, or with the Polish lancers. Or all three combined.
Thank you for your time.

S! SirDabro, Well met! It is always nice to have new players around and new folks to chat war with:) Anyway, glad to see you on MSN... I'll add you post-haste. If you want a decent MSN contacts list, lemme know, I'd be happy to send you mine, it has a bunch of players on it. As for membership in the Guard, I suggest you get a few games under your belt on NTW MP (with a few [GG]s?) and that you maybe post your thoughts on our forums about the transition from SP to MP; we would love to get to know your thoughts as a new player and as a new pair of eyes on the game. We do like to make sure new players have a chance to get their MP feet under them before they begin the process of joining the Regiment, but we would love to share some tips and talk strategy with you... Lord knows, I could have used the help, I would have improved much faster if someone had just told me the basics of MP when I started instead of having to learn them by having TRL beat me 46 games in a row! So keep us up to date on how MP is treating you; we find it is great fun! S! [GG]Ashram

Hi guys,
I've been wandering around the NTW world on my own for a while now, but with talk of clan warfare brewing I don't want to be left on the sidelines. If your regiment takes in strays I wish to submit an application. I think I've fought with or against most of you at one time or another and I took part in the EA campaign (even being mentioned in dispatches for my part in a cavalry skirmish).
I usually play as Russians or Austrians, taking a solid body of infantry, though with a sizeable chunk of cavalry always present.
Hope you deem fit to accept me
Regards all
Foilist

Hello Good Sir,
We will take this matter under advisement.
Admittedly I have been absent for some time. My duties in the colonies have taken up far too much of my attention, but I am looking forward to rejoining the Regiment soon.
I will look for you then and give you an answer.
S!

Ah no problems Cool! How about this; get a few games in with a few GGs, just to make sure that you are still interested, and then we can certainly see if this could work out! Sound okay?
